About W.M.S Hire

WMS Hire is a new addition to the WMS company portfolio.

Offering everything from small, medium and large panel vans to a large Luton van with a tail lift. We also have a 3.5 tonne and a 7.5 tonne tipper. Additionally, we have a Renault Midlum curtain sider with a tail lift. All available for both personal and business use. All the panel vans on our fleet are purchased brand new, giving customers the confidence that they’re hiring modern, clean, and reliable transport built for the job.

WMS Hire is one branch of WMS 2007 Limited (www.WMS.gg), a locally established and family-run network of automotive services that support drivers and businesses across Guernsey.

This includes:

WMS 2007 Ltd for car, light commercial and heavy commercial vehicle maintenance
WMS Tyres supplying and fitting Tyres for all vehicle types
WMS Parts providing quality components and replacement parts for all vehicle types

Being part of this entity means our hire customers benefit from in‑house expertise, fast maintenance support, and a team that understands vehicles inside and out.

📍 Based at the Vale Castle Industrial Estate

Our home at the Vale Castle Industrial Estate gives us an accessible base for collections and returns. While we proudly serve the island, our hire terms also allow vehicles to be taken off‑island, giving tradespeople, businesses, and private customers the flexibility to work or travel beyond Guernsey when needed.

What documents do I need to rent a Commercial Vehicle?

You will need a valid driving licence recognised in Guernsey and a Credit/debit card.

Will I be insured to drive the vehicle?

Yes, you will be covered by WMS insurance while the vehicle is on hire

Can I take the vehicle off the Island?

Yes you can

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

Yes, you can modify or cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the pick-up time. Please note modifying is subject to availability, if you cancel or modify with-in the 24 hours before pick-up you can lose part if not all the payment made.
